COSMETIC DENTISTRY
Improve the aesthetics of your smile.
Here at the Dr Richas cosmodent, we believe that everyone should be wearing a smile they’re proud of. No one should hide their smile.
We often see patients who complain about fractured, heavily stained or worn out teeth. Good news is, there are many different options to correct these problems. Cosmetic dentistry has come a long way, and whether you need a few minor enhancements or a full transformation, our cosmetic dentists can help.
Veneers & Smile Design
Veneers are a popular choice for those who are unhappy with their smile. A veneer is a strong, ultra-thin shell of porcelain bonded on top of the tooth to correct stained, chipped and misshaped teeth. Our cosmetic dentists can also use veneers to align slightly crowded teeth or close gaps between teeth.
Because of their versatility, veneers can be used to fix a single tooth or as a part of a smile makeover. Using the principles of smile design, we will help you recreate a natural looking smile that complements your features and personality.

Smile Makeover
Smile Makeover
There are times when we need to do a combination of cosmetic dental treatments to rebuild the natural beauty, health and function of our patients’ smiles. This may sound complex, but smile makeovers are something our dentists and specialists do on a daily basis. Smile makeovers may involve veneers, crowns, onlays, composite bonding or teeth whitening – all of which are carefully designed to give your smile a natural look and feel.
Teeth Whitening.
Everybody loves a bright, white smile. It is one of the most attractive features anyone can possess. This is why more and more people opt for teeth whitening treatments to rejuvenate their smiles and boost their confidence. Done professionally, whitening at the dentist gives you safe, effective and outstanding results with zero or little discomfort.
Gum Contouring.
It’s not always the teeth that are the problem, for some people, it’s their gums. Oftentimes, many people lose their confidence to smile if too much of their gums show (gummy smile), or when the gums rest too high on their teeth. To improve the overall aesthetics of a smile, our dentists and periodontist (gum specialist) can perform a procedure called gum contouring or reshaping. Laser technology makes this procedure quick and relatively pain-free.
Composite Bonding
Cosmetic bonding is a common procedure used to repair chipped or uneven tooth, or to close minor gaps between teeth. Your dentist will directly apply a tooth colored composite to the front surface of your teeth where it is contoured into the right form and hardened using a special light. The bonded tooth is polished and shaped to appear natural. Composite bonding can be used to fix a single tooth or rebuild several ones. It is usually completed in one visit.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation
A full mouth rehabilitation is when patients undergo a series of cosmetic and restorative procedures to restore the proper function, health and aesthetics of their smiles. This is typically performed for patients with a high number of severely damaged or missing teeth, or those with advanced periodontal or gum disease. Our specialists may use a variety of treatments that can include dental implants, bridges, root canal treatments, veneers and crowns to create the correct relationship between the gums, jaws, muscles and teeth.
